Hamlet Essay

Hamlet in general had a lot of good character you could really see the time and effort Shakespeare put into the play. A character that really caught my eye was Ophelia a beautiful girl that was kind and was in love with Emily and had a nice future ahead of her I could never see her become like she did at the end of the play or the way she passed away.
Ophelia thinks that her relationship with Hamlet is going good and she might have a bright future with him. Her father and brother don't think so. They believed that as soon as Hamlet has Ophelia and her virginity he would throw her away because he could never marry someone like her. With no mother in the picture to help get rid of these negative thoughts they push Ophelia to break up with with him in order to save herself, thus Begins the first step towards for madness.
Polonius had a lot to do in turing philia into a crazy woman. In the play we seen so much betrayal and so much backs that mean, I feel that Ophelia was just a victim of all the chaos, King Claudius news Del figlio to find out why Hamlet was so sad and depressed, felonious also used Ophelia to see if his assumptions were true how about his intentions with her. Ophelia was used by everyone not knowing what was happening to her it all took a toll on her State of Mind.
Ophelia relies basically on three people Polonius, Hamlet, and Laertes. Her dependence on these three men really wear her greatest weakness in my opinion, this basically creates three pillars for her. As soon as one picture goes down it just comes Crashing into a mess. The first one to go was Hamlet when he killed Polonius second one was when Polonius died the hands of hamlet, and when Hamlet just disappeared without telling her why we're explaining what happened to Polonius this all causes her to fall under depression and insanity well everyone just watch them stared without doing anything. At the end she was killed by her own hand at the river.
In conclusion this the play did not end very happily there was a lot of death in the end people just got hurt there was definitely a lot of things wrong with the people in the play and their state of mind I believe any of this could have been prevented if King Claudius wouldn't was just stop being so greedy by killing Hamlet's father.

Big Question??

My big question might not be as cool as some you have read but this is a skill I see can come in handy. How to save money, this is something I struggle with. I work at kohls and every paycheck is gone by the end of the week which is something I try to fix but with the holidays, its proven to be really hard for me. I would like to learn how to manage my money and find was to save money but also use some to enjoy life. That my big question.

My Semester Goal

My goal this year is to finish my scholarships for Hancock, but that just my backup plan my true goal this year is to sign my contract to the Airforce so that I can prepare to leave next year after I graduate that is my goal this year.

Hamlet 2.0

If the whole story with hamlet happened today I feel like hamlet would not be able to do more as far as killing king Claudius because now he would be caught and hamlet could accuse him of the crime but he would need to get proof. One place where he can get the proof he needs is his "Palace" (his new modern home), there are cameras in a lot of home now a days. This could be a place he can get proof, if they decide to do an investigation they can check the body check around the scene of the crime for finger prints. My point is that before it got any worse they most likely can find the cause of death and the person at fault.

The Clown of Death

When Hamlet was going back to Learters home land and on his way there he saw this battle when you fight over a piece of land that doesn't really mean much but the soldiers fight on and show there honor and dedication and when he starts to come home now all he sees are clowns because there following a falus king and just being fooled by him.

Today's reading

Today i read the squire and i have t say i really liked this story and i felt this was somewhat relate able in the scene that he feels that he could do other things that just be a knight. I my self am joining the air-force. my parents don't want me to go they want me to just go to college , and that was what i thought i was going to do but i never knew what i was going to major in or what job i was aiming for  but since i insisted to the air force i see the job i can have after the air force and collage because i don't see what the rush is.

TODAY'S CANTERBURY READING

Today i read the nun and this tale was pretty easy to understand for the most part. Most of the questions i  had, where locations such as the Stratford-atte-Bowe which was just a nunnery close to London other questions i had were vocabulary like span, and brooch but i did have one thing that i would like to know and that would be why couldn't she just be herself in the story.

The Lost Dog

There is a dog roaming the woods lost, without a plan, and without a reason. He only stops to drink but not hunt, not knowing where he will end up but somehow he feels safe in walking through the forest because deep down he knows it will be worth the trip and no matter where he ends up it will be better than where he is today. The dog keeps walking and with every step he takes he gets happier and happier, till one day he stops... he lays down by a rock and looks up at what little sky he can see beyond the trees then closes his eyes and rests.

The Canterbury tales

The Canterbury tales is a book with a collection of 24 stores. He originally wrote 120 but settled on the 24 , these stories are short but entertaining some of the most popular stories are the miller's tale, the nun's priest's tale, The merchant's tale, The Wife of Baths tale and the summoner's tale. This book was a major step in literature in the because it set anew slandered in which books or even novels should be written. This book seems like it is a big deal for inspiring writers to learn from and get tips from.

Student Senate Meeting 9/4/18

Today September 4, 2018 we started our first students Senate meeting of the year. The meeting started off pretty mellow, we were introduced to Mr. Salazar our ASB advisor and he talked about what these meetings are going to be about and what we can expect to get out of it. we spent out time introducing each other and practiced how a meeting will start and end. We did talk about a few student's concerns such as the lack of security when students get dropped off in the morning. Other things include the filthy restrooms and how there are students using/distributing narcotics in the restroom and how that impedes students from going into the restrooms during lunch or break.

HOW I LEARN

After school I have a routine that I do almost daily. First if i have to go get anything my mom asked of me from the store I do it on my way home, next when I get home I pick up my little brother from his babysitter. After that I go to the kitchen and feed my brother and myself, while in at it I take out my homework and see how much I have to do but I dont start it till 5. I go to my backyard with my brother so he can play with our dog, meanwhile I clean after him and fill up his bowls of water and food. when my parents get home is when I go walk the dog in the fields that are behind our house, I enjoy that because my dog gets to run around without having to worry about cars or other dogs trying to fight. my brother tags along and he likes to chase my dog around. After the walk is when I start my homework and after I eat dinner with my family and talk about our day and stuff, then I go to my room and play video games if I'm in the mood or just watch TV. Then I go to sleep and rinse and repeat.

2nd response to the modest proposal

Jonathan swift really wanted us to think about wht the current state of life is in the country and how we can make it better in a robotic world but that was just written I think for the purpose to make the people think of what's happening to their country and what they can do to make it better.

The modest proposal is mostly talking about the struggles of the beggers in this world. They tell of motheres that are in the streets begging for anything that will help them get through the day. this in turn can be seen at the negligence of the government to better take care of there people. this could be prevented if they only had the knowledge and tools to get jobs. If there are no jobs then it is the governments task to provide for the people when they need it.

From what I read Montaigne had a very different way of writing he also talks about how we can never truly relive the past because of the detail we will always miss. He compaired this to how when u cross a river the steps u take to cross it will be impossible to recreate in the future because the river will take the sand u iratated by stepping will flow down stream. This means that he doent write for the reader but the reader tries to understand him and his methods

School assembly

The school assembly that we went to yesterday was mostly talking about how this is our last year here and how we need to start to think about what we are going to be doing after high school.Mr Diaz starts the assembly off my reminding us about planning ahead and where we can get help if we have questions, which was really helpful because I was a bit confused about how that was going to be sorted out. Next the 2019 avid teacher talked about the new rules in place this year such as the hat policy among other things. Our counselors also were there and they explained why it's really hard to change your classes right now because of all the other year students wanting to do the same. After that we lined up and left for lunch
