HOW I LEARN

After school I have a routine that I do almost daily. First if i have to go get anything my mom asked of me from the store I do it on my way home, next when I get home I pick up my little brother from his babysitter. After that I go to the kitchen and feed my brother and myself, while in at it I take out my homework and see how much I have to do but I dont start it till 5. I go to my backyard with my brother so he can play with our dog, meanwhile I clean after him and fill up his bowls of water and food. when my parents get home is when I go walk the dog in the fields that are behind our house, I enjoy that because my dog gets to run around without having to worry about cars or other dogs trying to fight. my brother tags along and he likes to chase my dog around. After the walk is when I start my homework and after I eat dinner with my family and talk about our day and stuff, then I go to my room and play video games if I'm in the mood or just watch TV. Then I go to sleep and rinse and repeat.

2nd response to the modest proposal

Jonathan swift really wanted us to think about wht the current state of life is in the country and how we can make it better in a robotic world but that was just written I think for the purpose to make the people think of what's happening to their country and what they can do to make it better.

The modest proposal is mostly talking about the struggles of the beggers in this world. They tell of motheres that are in the streets begging for anything that will help them get through the day. this in turn can be seen at the negligence of the government to better take care of there people. this could be prevented if they only had the knowledge and tools to get jobs. If there are no jobs then it is the governments task to provide for the people when they need it.

From what I read Montaigne had a very different way of writing he also talks about how we can never truly relive the past because of the detail we will always miss. He compaired this to how when u cross a river the steps u take to cross it will be impossible to recreate in the future because the river will take the sand u iratated by stepping will flow down stream. This means that he doent write for the reader but the reader tries to understand him and his methods

School assembly

The school assembly that we went to yesterday was mostly talking about how this is our last year here and how we need to start to think about what we are going to be doing after high school.Mr Diaz starts the assembly off my reminding us about planning ahead and where we can get help if we have questions, which was really helpful because I was a bit confused about how that was going to be sorted out. Next the 2019 avid teacher talked about the new rules in place this year such as the hat policy among other things. Our counselors also were there and they explained why it's really hard to change your classes right now because of all the other year students wanting to do the same. After that we lined up and left for lunch
