From what I read Montaigne had a very different way of writing he also talks about how we can never truly relive the past because of the detail we will always miss. He compaired this to how when u cross a river the steps u take to cross it will be impossible to recreate in the future because the river will take the sand u iratated by stepping will flow down stream.
